With funding from individual donors, corporate sponsors, and nonprofit groups, the Park Commission can continue to provide quality cultural, educational, and recreational activities. Please support our supporters!

The Alliance for Morris County Parks

The Alliance for Morris County Parks is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and enhance the mission of the Morris County Park Commission through programs that will preserve historic sites, and augment recreational and educational opportunities for park visitors.

The Park Alliance strives to raise funds for these improvements and to provide an endowment to ensure that these improvements are sustained.

Friends of Fosterfields and Cooper Mill

The Friends of Fosterfields and Cooper Mill assist the Park Commission in developing and maintaining a high level of excellence at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm and Cooper Mill.

The Friends also promote and sponsor a public education program of historical and agricultural projects and activities. Members enjoy discounts on general admission, advance notice of activities, and a free subscription to the Gazette newsletter.

Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum

The Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, founded in 1972, support and promote the development of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum and other horticultural facilities through various programs, exhibits, and trips.

The Friends also operate the horticultural library, staffing for a year-round horticultural therapy program, and "Branching Out", a children's gardening program.

Friends of Historic Speedwell

The Friends of Historic Speedwell was established in 2003 to provide support to Historic Speedwell through volunteer efforts, fund-raising, and program assistance. The organization also manages the Historic Speedwell gift shop. Members enjoy discounts on general admission, 10% discount in the Gift Shop, and a quarterly newsletter.

The Friends also run a summer picnic which provides family fun while raising restoration funds and site awareness.

The Mount Hope Conservancy

The Mount Hope Conservancy supports programs that interpret and preserve the industrial heritage and landscapes of Morris County.

The Willowwood Foundation

The Willowwood Foundation is a non-profit organization established to nurture an appreciation for, and knowledge of, botany, horticulture, and the natural world.

It accomplishes this through its support of public education, the publication of and access to literature relating to plant science, and the development of facilities.

Morris Trails Partnership

The Morris Trails Partnership is comprised of walkers, hikers, joggers, bikers and horseback riders who advocate for the development, maintenance and intelligent use of trails for active and passive recreation. Trails are a significant component of quality of life and helps preserve and link natural, cultural and historical resources.

The Partnership offers a broad range of activities to introduce these trail systems to members and others.
